Salt Cellar w/ lid

This salt cellar provides quick access to a pinch or spoon of salt when preparing food in the kitchen. For use with larger grain salt like kosher or sea salt, not table salt. Larger grains make it easier to meter out by hand.

The lid is just meant to rest loosely on top to keep dust etc out, and has a sort of chamfer around the edge so that it self-centers.
