Printing lacing and plain halves leaves gaps on the last layers.
Printing as longwise works, but the glue joint is obvious.

Best print was the whole ball, standing up on end, with support, 3 loops, zero infill.

stand is 160 degrees oriented on Z axis, so spin it and print it flat side down.
