Replacement part for when the cable on your Apple power brick splits and frays right next to the adapter, as they are wont to do.

2. Crack open the brick. This is best done by putting the tips of a pair of needle nose pliers in the cutouts under the cable storage hooks and pushing the two halves of the case apart by opening the pliers forcefully.
3. Cut out the damaged part of the wire, including the old plug.
4. Thread the wire through the new plug.
