20in wagon buffer - round stock

A set of British 20inch wagon buffers as used on XP-rated stock with screw couplings, very common on LMS and BR vans, for example.

The stl is full sized so will appear huge when it loads into a slicing program like Chitubox, but reduce by the required percentage to print at your chosen scale, e.g. for 4mm scale reduce to 1.31 percent of full size.

I drew and printed these for a project about eight years ago but have not got around to using them on any commercial projects yet. They are drawn from LMS/BR drawings and from real examples, being accurate in profile and dimensions to at least 1/8inch, The buffer head thickness may therefore be too thin for printing in smallest scales and will need replacing with a turned metal component.
