In astrophoto it's a real relief (and sometimes almost a necessity) to automate your captures. Some are using filter wheels. This design is to make your evenings even easier - it allows you to simply mount the printed item in a filter cell holder (1.25" or 2") and mount it in your filter wheel. You are then able to take darks whenever you want and even have your imaging software do this automatically!
