After getting failure after failure (snapping, brittle, weak and separating/splitting of layers) of screws printed vertically, I found a remix of a thing here ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1765402 ) that cut the top and bottom of the threads just a little bit so the screw could be printed flat on the bed, with the layers horizontally laying flat instead of vertically, making the strenght of the rod/screw MUCH higher...so I did the same to the main screw on this one...
