Garage Door Insulation Holder

I purchased a garage door insulator kit this winter. Over time the lousy double sided tape included gave way on the bases of many of the holders that keep the insulation in place. In the process of trying to figure out what to do I broke a number of the bases (the top connector where the cover goes would snap a latching piece off). So rather than chuck it all I designed a new set and will be replacing the old double sided tape with industrial variety or construction adhesive.
