Wounded Cupid (1873 or 1875), Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux (1827-1875), marble, Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta (now ReMake) from Autodesk.
This work by J.B. Carpeaux (1825-1875) named “L’Amour blessé” was inspired by his eldest son (Charles Jean Louis), a 3-year-old who had injured his arm.
The original (0.497 cm * 0.363 cm * 0.182 cm), in bronze and whose wings have disappeared, was melted in 1873 by “Susse Frères”. It is preserved in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris
