TAZ 6 Mechanical Filament Sensor

I've recently been doing a large number of longer prints overnight and have had a few where the filament has run out and continued to print. Which is very annoying.

Now that I'm using OctoPrint to run my printer I'm able to install a plugin that will detect whether there is filament going into the extruder. I have my printer in an enclosure which is smaller left to right so I'm using a different reel holder so I wasn't able to use the existing filament sensors on here. I have a bunch of these
