Field Glasses Mystery Artifact

I wanted to research this artifact because it was used by the best general during the Civil War because he won the battles which were the turning points of the war. An artifact that he used a lot to survey the battlefield from a distance was his very own field glasses. Only high ranking military soldiers can use the field glasses and this artifact represents the field glasses that used in the Siege of Vicksburg.
