SCORBOT Ru4 Encoder Wheel

This replaces an encoder wheel on a SCORBOT RU4 robot Pittman motor. The openings are a little deeper than the ones on the actual machine. The original encoder wheel is held to the shaft with a 000 set screw; this model is a press fit. It needs to be printed in black or the encoder won't be able to distinguish the slots and it will read poorly. The encoders used on the robot no longer are available for purchase so this appears to be a viable solution for those of us still using these educational
