The pentacubes have a cube size of 15mm and the inset for the faces is 0.25mm. This way you should get no problems to fit other pieces into the gap of the U-pentomino. Many problems and solution can be found on the internet. The flat pieces (pentominoes) and the non flat pieces are separated in the construction of the two prisms.
