Crystal Star Tree

This was designed as part of a light defuser for a Christmas decoration, but the result was a bit of a surprise. OpenSCAD's linear_extrude() added facets to the result in an interesting and attractive way, especially when printed using a shiny material. I used translucent PETG but PLA should work as well.

For OpenSCAD-wise folks: I've provided knobs for height, the radius at the base, and the number of points in the star that is extruded. You can adjust the faceting by changing the $fn value
