This is an easy 3D printable torch for Makita 10.8v (BL1013) batteries and 12v MR16(GU5.3)/MR11(GU4) LED light bulbs, which are available producing 500 lumens or more. This absolutely dwarfs the light output from Makita's own ML101W torch.
Simply print vertically (no support needed), then solder two thin spade connectors (without insulation) to an MR16 light bulb and bend them outwards to fit in the slots in the BL1013 battery (see picture). Poke the MR16 in the hole, check it works, then glu
