Filament Variance Compensation Device

This is a work in progress.

This device will detect the width of filament that will be fed through an extruder into a 3D Printer. Once the width is detected, the variance from the nominal filament width will be fed into the Printer's controller to increase or decrease the extrusion multiplier as required.

This device will also detect if the filament has run out, the filament is out of spec for the printer, or if there is a filament jam.
