Smooth-bore pencils fit snugly in my stand to be used as a strong, cheap axle. No bearings or screws needed. Universal spool fit.
Total height dimensioned at 7.5 inches. Height from middle of axle to stand's base is about 6.25 inches. Can hold spools up to little over 3 inches thick.
