This is a box which is taylor made for a resistive matching attenuator. Just mount two BNC connectors through the holes in the box and wire them with 3 resistors. There are many calculators out there which provide you with the values needed in order to give a specific attenuation and impedance.
As it is advisable to shield the attenuator you will also find a part which you can use as a gauge to draw the outline on a piece of copper sheet. This copper can be folded inside the box.
