this did fail shortly after the last update, but i have recently found why it failed. turns out the individual bearing pieces were ground down so much, they created a razor sharp edge inside the grove this/the spring mounts, thus quickly slicing anything you put in there to pieces.
it probably would have lasted a very long time if i wasn't for the razor sharp parts.
i've since gotten a good deal on some 031 o-rings (1-3/4"ID, 1-7/8"OD), and am using 2x of those now that i have fixed the razor
