just print on your printer and push through barrel with wooden stick to test. If be too easy, just resize the base cylinder in FreeCAD.

use x38 nagant revolver cases, you need gas seal for 1gn to work
you can use .223 die for crimping case mouth so that cylinder indexes right, but dont do too much
