jointer knife guard / Hobelschutz

This is a knife guard for a selfmade jointer. I took an electric wood plane and mounted it upsidedown in a wooden box. This Thing is to protect your hands from the knifes. There is a rubber band needed to turn it back to home position. In the pictures you can see how that's meant. This is a very specal tool but maybe someone can need it.

assembly:
There are two parts. the guard and it's holder.
*tap a M8 thread in the holder
*screw a M8 threaded rod in the holder
*secure it with a nut
