This is a useful little thing for 750 g spools on Raise3D printers.
When using 750 g filament spools there's a problem with filament being trapped between the printer and the filament spool when the alternating push-draw makes the filament come off the spool. The filament is occasionally pushed back when the printerhead travels from far away from spool to close to the spool.
