This is a side panel for the Rostock Max V2 base which incorporates a large standard 120mm PC case fan, no more than 25mm thick. The panel opening is less than 120mm tall, so it mounts the fan diagonally to a duct. It does use up some space within the printer, but should offer more air throughput and less noise than a smaller fan. The fan installs onto the duct using m3 threaded heat set inserts and 30mm screws.
