Inspired by Raychaser design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:217249) I did my own version by splitting the holder in two parts and adjusting all the dimensions to my needs.

In this case the holder works with LG PAD 8.3 and a Samsung Note 2 with hard cover without problems.
