This project is what inspired me to purchase a 3d printer.
We bought an ice cream maker several years ago, but had only used it a handful of times. Late last year we were making a batch of ice cream and it suddenly stopped turning the canister. I took the motor housing off and found that one of the plastic speed reduction gears had broken into three pieces. I searched online to find a replacement, only to find out that the manufacturer doesn't sell a replacement gear. They expect you to buy
