This probably an alternative to the newest prusa i3 mk2s' U-bolts.
U-bolts aren't available so easily on any stores and this, hopefully able to act as an alternative. I don't know the thickness of the y axis carriage, just add the thickness with this clamp which is the length is 12mm minimum (flushed), add at least 2mm so you can use nut to secure them in place.
