A control arm, also known as an A-arm, is a crucial component in a vehicle's suspension system. It acts as a hinged link between the chassis and the wheel, allowing the wheel to move vertically in response to road irregularities. Control arms play a significant role in maintaining proper tyre contact with the road, ensuring safety and stability by keeping the wheels aligned. In this, Control Arm weight is reduced by incorporating lattices (Hexagonal and TPMS-Gyroid). The original model was downloaded from GrabCAD https://grabcad.com/library/control-arm-33 and imported into nTop for weight reduction designs.
