As most owners of the Maker Select V2 have probably noticed, the provided spool holder is too thin for most filament spools. This design extends the provided holder by about 2cm, making it plenty big for most rolls. It has a semi-rounded top for low friction against the roll, a key for ensuring the part stays in place, and a flared bottom to fit snugly into the stock filament holder.
To install, unscrew the nut holding the stock holder, turn the stock holder over, and slide the printed part
