The Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk Desktop Adapter is a great system using standard SATA connectors you can plug in any drive , but without the expensive mount plastic housing the drive can fall out. So I built this so I can put any 9.5mm ( laptop ) drives safely in the unit.
