Purpose: To check a square tube surfaces for parallel
Background: I am building a precision linear delta which will use square stainless steel tube as the vertical ways.
Using Whitworth's 3 plate technique I can make one side of the tubing flat, but it might not be parallel to the opposite side.
This machine mounts a dial indicator so that I can measure the opposite surface's plane-ness to the flat surface I scraped. The flat surface rests on 3 skate
