Hi all,
This is my first attempt at mounting a 500mW laser module to my Anet A8 printer. The module powers from the fan connector. All tested and working just fine. With this I set the Z height to 10mm for a nice comfortable focus distance on the laser when etching a single sheet of paper.
The laser module is 33mm square and slides into the bracket until it hits an endstop. There is a slot on the bracket for an M3 screw to hold the laser module in place. Requires one M3x8mm screw and 2x M3x3
