This Zoe-trope uses one of the oldest mechanical solutions for the movie industry, the Maltese cross, also referred to as the Geneva wheel. It was used in camera's and projectors, to rapidly move the celluloid from one picture to the next. Since we don't have our pictures on celluloid, we print them on a CD. Ten pictures per movie.
