I built an LED backlit sign using the internals of a Harbor Freight 27 LED flashlight:

Some of my viewers expressed interest in these STL files, so here you go!
The 24-LED circuit board was cut into 4 strips and reassembled into a single LED strip. These brackets slip over the LEDs and connect each strip together. I added some super glue for extra strength and soldered each strip together (see the video for more detail).
