I had a bad thumbscrew and while waiting for Tevo to send me a replacement, I modified Ulmenkott's design in tinkercad. I should have made the hole .5 mm larger. As it is, just line up a M3 nut, heat it and press down.
I used a soldering iron, but someone else said just screw the M3 on the tip of a M3 bolt, heat with a lighter and press it in. I used 2-3 #8 washers on top to give me space between the nut and the bottom of the bed holder, plus I have the aluminum bed holder, not acrylic. This
