VX7R Radio holder

I use this to hold my vx7r radio to my pfd when i go sailing .the radio is held secure in the holder and can be inserted without pushing the button but it is nesacary to push the button to remove the radio from the holster the sliding latch requires the installation of 2 small hardware store acquired springs to stay closed,there is room to connect three springs but this was too much pressure on the button.Just use two springs.
