I am planing to uprgade my Hypercube to 12mm rods for the Z axis. The 8mm Steel Rods are not stiff enough and the Heatbed moves/vibrates if I set high accelerations. (At the moment acceleration is down to 600mm/s² and velocity 40mm/s to achieve good print quality. My Printer is higher than tech2cs original design, so maybe for the small printer design the 8mm is still enough.

Mounting Holes are for M5 Screws
