Rally Raid Roadster

This model was very much inspired by this illustration by Will Pierce: http://instagram.com/p/iuX8-tLb2v/
It was also an experiment in using the subdivision surface modifier more in my process.
I considered doing it caricature-style, but ended up making a fairly accurate 1/24 model of an original MX-5 Miata/Roadster bodyshell before adding all the race truck craziness. Most of that stuff was just eyeballed, it turns out the ride height would be like 20 inches!
