Canadian Bee Clearer cone

My friend wanted to borrow a Canadian bee clearer from the local club but unfortunetly they did not have one so I decided to build one.

They are a very effective and rapid way of clearing bees. The cones are not one way valves but the bees are sufficiently disorientated not to be able to find their way back into the supers. However they should not be left on for more than six hours.

4 - 440mm x 62mm 20mm slats of wood
16 - 15mm nails
