HICTOP 3DP-08 Filament Monitor

The original filament monitor was giving me constant false warnings, ruining many more prints than it saved. I thought it was interference between wires, but noticed that it happened when the filament was pulled to the side and could pull away from the switch just enough to trigger it.

I made this new version from scratch to address that issue by extending the end a bit to keep it straight for the switch. I also added a slight bevel to keep it from hanging up as much.
