Dishwasher drain hose adapter

After discovering water at the kitchen floor, I discovered hole in the drain hose. I cut it and bought a drain hose at hardware store. Needed something to connect them together. This is a result of my quick design. Works good so far.
My dishwasher model is "Siemens".
