Simple hinge base for 1x2 furring strips

Needed a simple way to support a shelf but not a permanent solution. All I needed was a way to hinge a 1 foot furring strip to angle under a small shelf. When not in use, II wanted the shelf to be able to hang down against the wall out of the way. Well, this simple little do-da, was all that was needed.
