We just recovered from a bad storm that came through my area and I was forced to use my Harbor Freight Predator 4000 generator (https://www.harborfreight.com/4000-peak3200-running-watts-65-hp-212cc-generator-carb-69675.html) for about 16 hours. During part of that time we still had rain in the area and so I just dropped a piece of plywood on top of the generator with some stuff to weigh it down to keep the plywood from vibrating or blowing off the top of the generator.
