Well, the Run Capacitor on my Air conditioning unit crapped out, and of course the replacement was a different diameter than the old one, and of course they don't just supply a clamp along with it any more.

They had a tie wrap holder, but the blasted little plastic holder cost more than the Run Cap. Umm, nah.

Figuring that I've got some other projects in the queue, where I need to strap down a capacitor, I thought I would just design one.

It's designed for a cap that is 55mm in diamet
