I really liked Shorny's approach to mounting a webcam to the Original Prusa printers but I didn't want to use a Raspberry Pi camera. Additionally, I wanted some flexibility regarding the camera's position (pitch and yaw). As a result, I merged [Gyrobot's Ball and Socket][1] design with Shorny's, creating a system that accepts any camera provided you have a socket adapter for it.

For a previous project, I removed my C270 board from its housing and thus needed a replacement housing. I went with
