#24 LED Light Clock

This 24 neopixel ring based clock projects the LEDs backwards to the wall to create a halo clock impression.

I used an ESP-12E to control the LEDs. Instead of using a levelshifter I sacrificed one 2812 from a LED strip to boost the 3.3V data signal to 5V [using a diode to feed the first LED](https://hackaday.com/2017/01/20/cheating-at-5v-ws2812-control-to-use-a-3-3v-data-line/)

This is hard-coded in the arduino Sketch, so please adjust accordingly if you plan to levelshift in a different way. The colors on the other hand are adjustable in the webinterface of the clock, default http://ledclock.local/

To have more reflection from the back facing LEDs I covered the slanted side of the backside with aluminum foil. The cavity in the backside can hold a [micro-usb breakout board](https://www.bitsandparts.nl/USB-kabels-hubs-and-connectors/Micro-USB-breakout-board/p111796)
