Some of the earlier Solidoodle SD4's have the holes for an additional linear bearing to support the Y axis rail, but no linear bearing installed. I've found that this works pretty well if you sand down the surface and apply some white lithium grease. I have two m3 screws with lock nuts holding it in place, and I plan on adding some washers to hold it better.
