Back in the olden days, we had the iPhone 6 and a wonderful cover was made to address carrying both your ID and the phone at the same time via the protective cover:

An eternity later, we now have the same solution but tailored to the unique form factor of the iPhone 7 (smaller version). The only difference between the two is the placement and size of the cameras.
