Book Scanner Elbow

This is the "elbow" for a book scanner project. I am making a book scanner using easy-to-get-and-assemble parts from the local hardware store (aside from the electronics), and I did not want to use plastic for the platter that presses the pages together. This allows me to use glass sheets from the local hardware store, without having to bend. It will also allow me to make the book scanner portable (quick disassembly into a briefcase) for use on family history books, libraries, etc.
