The Ball on the lid is purposely over-sized, because of different printers and different tolerances on them that was the easiest thing to keep the lid snapped on tight no matter who prints it, the ball on the lid is super sturdy, just take a tiny bit of sandpaper to shave the height down on it until it closes and opening to your liking.
