The adventurers had just rounded the corner to discover a rather interesting column. It had a snake winding its way up the column and at the top 4 gargoyles supporting the structure. I took part of the gargoyle from Shapespeare who got it from a scan of the staircase at the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables Florida. The winding snake and column are my creations.
This could be used as part of a storyline where the snake and the four gargoyles somehow are animated and come to life out of the column.
