I have been using these Z-axis pushers for many many hours now and they work great. When you use these pushers you can actually fix your Z-axis at the top since the threaded rods are no longer connected to the leading rods.

You can use all original hardware! The M3 screws in just fine. Assemble like I showed on the picture.
